LabCourse Description

SAF Tehnika certification course will make students familiar with Integra family products. The course provides an overview of the products and hands-on lab experience using Integra RF link. After completing the course students will be able to configure, manage and troubleshoot Integra links.

The students who attend the course and pass the examination at the end of the course will receive an official SAF Tehnika certificate.

Course Prerequisites

  • Basic knowledge in RF Fundamentals and Networking
  • It is required to bring a laptop with Ethernet port

Part 1. Integra All-Outdoor Unit Technical Overview (1h)

  • Integra Family Models Overview
  • Integra Link Components
  • Product Specifications and Features
  • Advanced Features of Integra: AES, Header Compression, QoS with fragmentation, SyncE, Ethernet rate limiting, RADIUS, HTTPS
  • Different Link Configuration Options: 1+0 and 2+0
  • Integra Accessories Overview


Part 2. Hardware Installation and Link Alignment (1h)

  • Suggestions and Best Practices
  • Integra Adaptation to Different Manufacturer Antennas, use of OMTs
  • Lab 1. Integra Installation on a Pole


Part 3. Integra Configuration and Management (2h)

  • Lab 2. 1+0 Link Setup in Lab and Initial Configuration
  • Built-in Management Overview
  • Advanced Features Configuration Topics: ACM, ATPC, VLANs, SNMP, AES, Header Compression, QoS, SyncE, 2+0
  • Performance Data Analysis and Configuration
  • Possible Link Troubleshooting Steps
